"Learning to Share" is the debut album release from Tory Hanna & The Pondsiders. In the spirit of "Learning to Share," this album is released as pay-what-you-want and a portion of all proceeds will be donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Tory Hanna & The Pondsiders encapsulate the spirit of the Berkshire Mountains. Led by troubadour Tory Hanna, the band draws inspiration from the region’s natural beauty, quiet mystery, and invitation for adventure. The band has opened for the likes of The Indigo Girls, Matisyahu, The Barefoot Truth, Deertik, The Gin Blossoms, and performed at The Bowery Presents Mercury Lounge, NYC, Twin River Casino and Rockwood Musical Hall NYC.
Building off of the earthy tones and emotional breadth of their 2012 release Pondside, "Learning to Share" speaks to the stripped down live Americana-Folk tradition prevalent in the Western Massachusetts music scene; Tory Hanna splits his time recording and touring with the Whiskey Treaty Roadshow, a singer-songwriter collaborative based in MA and including an all-star cast of front men and songwriters prolific in their own right.
"Learning to Share" is an 11-track journey told from the perspective of someone who has experienced, as we all have, the joys and struggles that define what it means to learn to share. We hope you enjoy and pass it on!
